They have always wanted to sell me a new independent policy or the short term policy.

Me: Hi, jcb insurance? I’d like to claim. I had a machine on hire and it rolled. It’s going to cost £50k.per clame
Same here, for a week small plant like dumpers, 3 ton digger etc is usually £0, most I’ve paid was £44 for £180k of plant (JCB 150x and 220x) for 2 weeks. Hired a roller for 2 weeks at Christmas and it was £5I hired kit last year (90K on paper) and NFU added to my fleet policy for 9 days for about £20 from memory.. (I just had to remember to cancel it again)
NFU might not be the cheapest - but when it comes to stuff like this - they kick ass!Same here, for a week small plant like dumpers, 3 ton digger etc is usually £0, most I’ve paid was £44 for £180k of plant (JCB 150x and 220x) for 2 weeks. Hired a roller for 2 weeks at Christmas and it was £5
