Im really less than impressed with the JCB we have on hire at the moment, not that I wasn't expecting a lot as im not a JCB fan but to say its a donkey wouldn't be far out.

Have heard the same thing, ....have they stopped building them, down to issues they’ve been having??....been lead to believe that they have stopped work on the bigger Hydradig down to issues.

Don’t think you’d go wrong with a Manitou or Merlo to be fare, they seem to have that part of the market sown up.

What jcb you got hired can't be a roto didn't think they were out yet.

Yeah been on few manitou,prefer them to merlo,easy to set up stabilizers,nice to use,bigger machines,Magni,big bucks,GT lifting or Hodge plant,Blantyre often have low hour second hand for sale

Some tool eh?! Apparently he’s got a basket for it like yours so can also use it as a proper MEWP too.
If it could do 60mph and drag a big trailer I don’t think there would be any boxes left to tick!!!

Hoping to get on one soon. Manitou seem to completely dominate the roto market in Ireland although I’m sure there are some Merlos around too. Haven’t seen a dieci in a long time, even just a regular non roto one.

Have you the new Roto on hire Fred? Seen afew companies with them now.

hated tree work with a crane ... ****ers were always well shy/lying through their teeth, on their guesstimates ... and i always tried to be well over cap. at reach .. you can't put the bloody thing down once it's been lopped off, to have a re-rig .. have had a few seat foam moments, working with tree monkeys
