we can all live in hope Shaun ..... I'll give my oil guys a call tomorrow and ask what they'll offer for me to take several hundred litres of cherry off their hands :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: ....... i know the third word is going to be "off " :giggle::giggle:
been a long time since i paid 13p a litre for it .... be nice to see it again ... time to buy a large tank (y)

I picked up a spare 1200 litre tank last year so I could start collecting waste oil for a cheeky workshop waste oil heater, still empty though. I'll be getting that and my primary tank filled at these prices. Will probably last us 2 years. :D

you wouldn’t keep large quantities of diesel after the problems we were having last year with the fame content increase.

Talking about new tanks bought this 3 or 4 weeks before the world went into meltdown.
9000L fuel proof bowser with diesel hatz engine, with 2 inch fuel delivery hose. Fuel proof really do make a good bowser and surprisingly hold there value very well seen ones at auction 4 years old making the price of new stock.

Had my wacker plate giving bother with diesel bug last year but it's about the only thing i regularly hire out so couldn't guarantee it was my fuel problem. Regardless get conditioner in every tank of red now and have had no bother only 1ppl more no brainer. Having said that i only use one supplier as I've never had any issue with them and price is always good. End of the day if you ring round and go with the cheapest (often only saving £10 on a tank full) and get sh*te fuel tough sh*t

Diesel tanks will be in high demand!

I couldn’t even get a price out of one tank supplier 🙄, and that’s been since before Christmas! Phone multiple times. Must be too busy to want the business! So they’d be pretty busy now I’d think.
Sad really, as I’ve bought quite a few tanks from them, but they’ve let me down at the first hurdle on this one 😔

We have been on oil heating for nearly 4 decades now :p
So have been following price reductions in light of the Covid-19 pandemic....
....unable to get through to our regular supplier by phone, email or website
Our new bonded tank is 7/10 full after a recent order.
So I suggested to SWMBO that I be permitted to site the old 2500 tank out the front.
What she said is not repeatable
The old steel 300gall tank is still lurking up the side of the house on brick piers etc.
So have just ordered 1500 litres of Kerosene at 18.9ppl + VAT = £299.09 from HomeFuels Direct.
A neighbour recommenced them for daily pricing with a nice graph on the website.
Will update y'all how the delivery goes on/about 5 May 2020

...now gonna site the old 2500 tank on slabs at the back of my barn out of sight from SWMBO ;)
You’ll be amazed what I can do with a transfer pump, 45g barrels and a forklift 😅

can't you just pump from one to the other Dave ??
what were that outfit quoting for red?
might be more 'astute' to acquire this/next year's m/c fuel cheap ?
have to see if I can't rake some more 45s together ;)
