Don't complain - suggest what's better
pretty boring job I should think. Only another few hundred steps to go. Need to be very careful not to push yourself sideways on the ice. Even with chains once you bumped off one step you could easily be heading for a heap at the bottom before you had time to adjust the legs.

I've never driven a spider, and that was my first thought.

Whats the body from? Looks a damn good fit.

Bit of a story.

Got offered a 2007 Cabstar last year for £900.... but it was a baby one, had a few faults and this back along with a toolbox bodged on.... back was too small and short to be of use so I passed it up.

A mate brought it with a view to putting a proper body on it.... I then measured it up and found that aside from the subframe being too narrow it'd fit lovely  Got it home last night and started modding.

Going to have a new smaller fuel tank made to sit between the body and cab as there is a small suitable space, it will also make changing the RHS leaf spring a doddle as I suspect I will break them more regularly. Not sure if i've got the body high enough either, but it's a compromise and is as low as I dare go!

I’m guessing it’s not his first rodeo, judging by the stuff laying around the workshop?

I can see how a SMALL jib would be useful, but that looks completely ridiculous.
I'd guess he's after height rather than reach.
