WP_20261025_17_56_07_Pro.jpg

hauled this lot down to the woodshed Thursday .. almost full to the door :giggle: - no idea what happened to the pic - grubby finger on the lens 'praps ?
WP_20261027_12_22_55_Pro.jpg

as said above .. this arrived yesterday
WP_20261030_12_46_02_Pro.jpg

set up for 20v out of my 20/40v batteries
WP_20261030_12_46_11_Pro.jpg

one of the few I could find with pre-placed mounting holes
sought out a suitable bit of nylon - just the right size in the off cuts box and worked out 'how'
WP_20261030_17_00_18_Pro.jpg
handle off one of the flat packed filing cab.s the oak tree killed was a perfect fit in the hand -- handy sized rocker switch and a 48W 4 x 4 LED lamp

's BRIGHT!! -- lights the length of the drive to the far gate - be no hiding from this -- my calc.s reckon on 100 min.s from a full charge with a 20v, 4AH battery, double for a 40v 4AH, pulling 20v - cheapest, brightest torch I've had :giggle::giggle:

big job this morning
WP_20261031_12_56_54_Pro.jpg

Clara's skates'd seized up on 3 wheels - bearings locked solid ... had an idea I had some 'lurking' and sure enough same as skate boards ... had a set of wheels and bearings given to me by a customer years ago - wanted me to look at creating a tubular mono rail in his gardy for the kids like a solid zip line ... sussed a runner design, priced it and he bought a zip line cable instead :ROFLMAO: ....... never asked for the wheels and bearings back and was sure i still had 'em - somewhere ?
WP_20261031_13_13_43_Pro.jpg

well lubed up, changed and re-fitted to skate - wickedly slick
brake blocks might get a bit more use than they currently experience
now to find some more, as the other foot mat have a job keeping up :ROFLMAO:

having googled it :-
" Ferrex power tool batteries use a proprietary Aldi-specific slide-style pattern (branded under Activ Energy and U-LED systems) rather than an open industry-standard pattern like Makita LXT or Bosch " :(:(

only alternative is to buy a.n.other brand and an adaptor to attach the Ferrex with as AFAIK Ferrex do not do a 1/2" drive impact in cordless, only corded which has recently appeared in the 'middle aisle' , so it's a case of finding summat suitable which uses Mak/Dewalt/etc. batteries .. and not being tight, but for the use it'll get I really can't justify (to myself) forking out for one of the above
@Routy56 what was that impact you put up a few weeks ago you'd had from somewhere ??

just bought myself a battery connector to give me 20v out of my 20v & 20/40v,s to make a good torch with ... watch this space :giggle:
my one decent torch has died recently - (beyond fixing I think) :(
That was a "Justfit" brand of

Brushless Cordless Impact Wrench Set 1/2" Driver Ratchet Rattle Gun 2 Batteries on eBay at only £43.99 just over a year ago

The seller is no longer trading.
BUT, it has given me a year of excellent work in my workshop :giggle:
