See h&s I am sure say they are for emergency use only on a forklift or telehandler, I maybe wrong?I'd guess you'd need all the control system's black boxes to go in the cab too

Emergency use only unless they can be controlled from the basket which that one can. Or at least potentially canSee h&s I am sure say they are for emergency use only on a forklift or telehandler, I maybe wrong?
No issues with them but companies should be careful.
Well trodden ground but I'd rather be 6m up on a 6t forklift than swaying about in a scissor that tips over if you run over a fag packet.Emergency use only unless they can be controlled from the basket which that one can. Or at least potentially can

Scares the crap out of me ..done it. Feel like they gonna tip even if you stop quick.Imo outdoor scissors really shouldn't be driven around raised. it scares the hell out of me watching the electricians driving around in the warehouses fully up on a 1m wide machine
Been doing a bit of this today working on workshop . The rough terrain one we have on hire will move with it up and it’s not too bad , it has suspension like a rubber duck that you can hear locking when you stop moving .What I hate are the controls for moving and steering. It’s a one joystick set up with a button on top of the lever to steer . It’s the worst thing I’ve ever tried to manoeuvre ever . How on earth has anyone made something so awkward ! Are they allImo outdoor scissors really shouldn't be driven around raised. it scares the hell out of me watching the electricians driving around in the warehouses fully up on a 1m wide machine
Great bit of kit ! If your stuck for one you can make one from an IBCAre we still aloud to call them MAN BASKET. Surly it's a PERSON BASKET.
Or possibly a TWATINABOX?

Kangaroo hops! Mine has a high low speed setting which helps. I keep meaning to back the throttle off a bit to make it less lively. Can’t drive mine more than a couple metres high, maybe it’s the level sensors and will go higher on level ground?Been doing a bit of this today working on workshop . Couldn't agree more...takes a very gentle hand to get them smooth even the the slightest jolt and the thing catapults you forward into the rail. Lethal. Absolutely crap controls...still trotted out years later . Had a brand new sky jack the other week...so jerky it's unreal. Must be a better option...guess they just presume they always used by numbskullsYes all like that and very very odd on. I have never seen anyone delicately maneuver one.
And we had an orange thing (Chinese brand I think that is suddenly very popular) and it got stuck on full lock as didn't have the power to turn the steering off of full lock whilst stationary. But didn't have the power to move itself on full lock. Had to get 3 people to give it a push.
