Mine £2.01 next week Inc vat.
20p in 3 weeks, don't worry inflation is under controlThis is way higher and faster than before and hardly a whimper from news?![]()
This could (and probably will) get a lot, lot worse. Especially diesel.
I'll be prioritising very local work. Glad I filled the tank at £1.50.
The saving on red is nothing tbh- the underlying oil costs seem to be the big increase. It will.
Fortunately we are on work that slots into Agri for the foreseeable.

I’m more worried about it becoming unobtanium than the price.
I feel the same with DervThe beauty of red is the fact I store it![]()
The exchange rate in July 2008 was almost $2/£
Oil coming out of the pipeline from Saudi Arabia has been attacked. Plenty of rumours anout that we make have a supply crunch in a couple of weeks.Anyone have an idea why it’s gone crazy!??
sadly I've burnt all my fuel invoices from 2010 and back 20 odd years, or I could've given it to you month on month for DERV on 30,000lt deliveries 2 or 3 times a month and 30+ years for gas oil on 2500lt deliveries - 2 or 3 times a week (5% vat on 2500 or less
I have tanks for both but you still feel vulnerable! The beauty of red is the fact I store it![]()
I sit on it.. the Red rarely gets used although we have a run of stuff that falls into the agricultural bracket over the next two months and with the new machine coming the intention is the older of the two TB175's will go solely on agricultural work.I have tanks for both but you still feel vulnerable!
I guess a buffer for any shortages is good- I might start filling up at petrol stations again. If it gets really bad then we are all in the same boat. Might be time for a years holiday!
