Yanmar SV26 vs Kubota KX027-4 vs Bobcat E27

Typical fencing job this week, not mega steep but definitely steep enough for the machine to be unsettled lifting the post knocker above cab height. Not sure if I'd be comfortable with the short blade. Looking forward to getting the bobcat set up and see how it compares to the Kubota.

I’m not convinced that you are getting the best from that knocker if that’s how you use it

It's not mine I traded in my kx61-3. I use that kx027 a lot though, belongs to a farm I do a lot of work for. Like I say it's a good machine, just a lot of annoying niggles that could and should have been sorted by now.

Congrats! Sure it will serve you well. But I would NOT be happy to have a machine delivered new with any scratches in it let alone deep ones!

Well I'd get them to come rectify the damage with a suitable sanding down, primer and top coat. Bobcat paint is known for being s**t but it should at least arrive with a fighting chance.

And get it in writing that the paint is covered under warranty

They should replace the panel. Or pay for a proper respray. Its brand new FFS.

you'd certainly not stand for a new vehicle arriving in that state
why should you with this ??
it's not a cheap investment and should arrive absolutely mint
it's obvious that it's not been done in the transport process to you, but a considerable time ago -- Ws

Yeah I guess that and a few cans of paint would be a fair compromise. Let's face it the paint will be hanging off in a few years time anyway

Lovely looking machine, every bobcat I've driven has been very nice to operate. Shame about the scratches, I think it'd want them to either put it right or give me some £££ back - like V8druid said, would you accept that if you got a new car with a massive scratch?? It's annoying when you are made to feel like your being petty or difficult. I had issues with kinshofer along these lines, but had everything in black and white and they got it sorted (sort of)...
