They are an option as well ! Easy to move aside . They also do a under floor version but I’m probably a bit near pouring the floor to have the time to consider that

As above i'd be going mobile these days especially if your not using everyday !
We had twins and single posters at my last garage job. Both got their places but mobile so much more versatile if you want to use the space for other stuff. Fixed can be a royal pita .
The pallet truck style versions are awesome but not cheap.

I keep looking at these but I just don’t see them being comfortable with a Ranger on?

I know a bodywork guy pretty sure his ramp is mobile. Don't think it's bolted to his floor. He's only doing cars and vans though. Recently been turfed out of their units and he's had to go to another so I assume he doesn't need any special detail under the slab.

Be fine for smaller stuff . I’d be nervous putting my van on anything not bolted down . I’m looking at the scissor ramps . At least it would get it up enough to work around the brakes and hubs . If it needs full height acess for anything like exhaust I will just put to fitter

They are rated at 3t so should be ok. An empty ranger is only just over 2t.
The scissor type look more stable but less access.
The single posts have accessories to do all your compact tractors too. Not sure the scissor lift would be much use there

We had fixed single posters. They bend like frig with anything decent on. Gives you the heebies at first..but they rated and tested you just get used to it. Cheapo chineses versions be another story tho ...

I`ve got one similar to the one @V8Druid linked to.
On a nice floor you`ll move it round no problem, even with a vehicle on it, when your in position when you lift the handle up, it lowers it slightly onto feet so it doesn't move.
Ideally you want to park the vehicle and wheel the lift into position, but if a bit tight for spare, with some timbers you can drive over it.
If I`ve had to do some real dragging and pulling on something on the ramp, I`ve cut some timber to length, to go under the ends of the arms and lowered the lift slightly, it makes it more solidi if it worries you.
Most of the time its used as an adjustable height bench.

I put one in a local garage cut up the floor and it sits flush with floor ,so you can drive over it no hassle
