Garage 2 post ramp

I’ve just put concrete pads in for my workshop . It’s an 8m x13m steel building .
I’ve been thinking about fitting a 2 post ramp in it . I haven’t concreted the floor slab yet but will be next week so if I’m going to put one in now would be the time so I can concrete the base plates in . Any advice or recommendations ?
It has a roller door in both ends

wants to be on a good 'block' found Vin ... have seen 'em fall over just bolted to a slab .. with a good block under them you can drill fix with a decent length anchor

I’ve got the option to concrete a base plate in within the slab . Id likely put a slab thickening under it as well

yeh ... 's why I did what i did with my 4 poster -- move it about and drop it where you want it or chuck it out the way
(should NOT have sold the damned thing though )
been quite a few mobile single posters on FBMP lately

20mm x 200mm drill fixed anchors'd be fine with enough under them Vin

That was a concern , that’s why I thought a 2 post . I think if it needed to come down it could .

bear in mind that they have an overhead connection to each other can't just unbolt one leg out the way occasionally

I made a base for it Vin .. 300 x 90 PFC and bolted it to that ... could then chuck it anywhere (as long as it was flat/level)

Plenty of mobile options now. Someone was servicing an 8t machine on one of the hgv sets on Facebook the other day. The type with one person wheel.

A friend of mine has one of those in his garage. When pouring his floor, he shuttered it so that when not in use the ramps sit flush with the rest of the floor. The control cable runs through a duct to the controller in the corner of the garage.

Must admit we've a set of HGV column lifts, each lift does 7.5 tonne. Can lift cars, tractors, plant and trucks. Currently have our low loader on them. Handy as they live in the back of shed when not needed. Also have the tall screw thread stands so a corner can be supported then the lift removed to gain access to a wheel for example. They are quite expensive even, used examples. But I landed on this set for £2000.00 just badly listed, so I'd say if you keep you eyes out you may come across a set at handy money.
