Maybe not the most active member but I do get up to some relatively interesting stuff from time to time so I thought I might make one of these. Probably mostly not plant seeing as its more of an agricultural workshop... But may be of interest all the same?
Watch this space for agricultural bodges :ROFLMAO::oops:

having had to perform miracles for some of my 'agricultural customers' over the years, I look forward to seeing this thread develop (y):giggle:

a typical example of a 'can you just'

So what did you do to it in the end Gra, looks like you put new pins in, did you make individual bushes for each one?
from memory ..... all bored out and rebossed, welded in in line and new pins everywhere ...... typical ag. no bushes in it ... just gave the bloke a grease gun and told him to ****ing use it twice a day 😂 :ROFLMAO:

knowing Colin, he still has the same stick in the grease gun ....... from April '10

It's not fallen apart yet suprised they even brought it in for you to fix hahah
I'll have to take a video of our digger bucket one day, its wallered right out, will have to attempt to rebore it somehow... One day...
Must have some photos somewhere. Unfortunately us agriculturals are awful with leaving things until the last mm of wear or just past it to fix them...

It doesn't count as a bodge if it keeps a machine working until it can be repaired properly 😁. I like to say that I am an artificer 😏
Well we all know if it works it stays until it falls apart, normally right in the middle of harvest with rain the next day or sommat like that... :ROFLMAO:
Then everyone is shocked it broke lol

A bit about me and some past jobs won't go amiss I suppose. I don't suppose there will be any order to what I upload here but it'll mostly be stuff I'm currently doing but I might throw in some jobs I've done in the past too. With fairly patchy photo coverage probably lol. I'm a kid from the southwest who probably thinks he knows more than he does. Willing to listen to constructive criticism so long as its not from the old man :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Back in the summer, July or august I suppose, we needed a bit more oomph out of one of our machines to pull a cultivator that was maybe slightly too large for it. Decided extra front weights was the way to go forward, so I had to make a weight carrier. No photos of it being made unfortunately but I've got some of the final product. It's now Janurary and it hasn't fallen off yet so I suppose it does the job...

I have no clue why they're on their side they're the right way up on the PC and I can't seem to see a way to rotate them here...

curious ...... are they orientated the right way as thumbnails in the folder? ?
try re-orientating and then save a copy to upload ?
