That some graft in the heat

Nowhere near as hot as it has been, and quite shady so it's not been as bad as I expected
Although these beams are about on my limit I'd probably rather carry one on my shoulder comfortably than have an end of it and have to grip it.
The good thing about working on your own is that you can alternate between jobs on site to an extent so you don't end up having to do all the hard digging/carrying etc in one go

I know ...

Dad used to laugh. He had a fibreglass sandvik the whole of my life working with him.
Think he only bought an estwing a year or so before he headed north

Years ago I had a slightly younger mate of mine working with us in his uni holidays. He was a bright lad but a bit gullible. Decided that he wanted to buy himself a few tools, starting with a claw hammer. 3 of us convinced him that you couldn't just buy a hammer, you had to go and see the 'hammer fitter' who'd take your measurements and only sell you the 'right' hammer
Took him to B and Q on the way home, he walked straight to the tool section and started looking about for the 'hammer fitter' I stopped him before he asked a shop assistant, I'm not that cruel
