Apparently it went up.last night mysteriously before cops could get contractor to remove it

As the crow files im less than a mile away.

On Wednesday night the helicopter was out and circling for about an hour, I said to Emma, they must have revealed what's on the bonfire this year

Last night as we where going to bed the police drone/aeroplane was out and circling for another hour, i said something must be happening, this morning I seen on Facebook it was lit.

There's only one thing I Know, no contractor in Northern Ireland was going in there to take it down, they simply wouldn't have the balls to

The Honerable controversy that was Anne Widdicombe it's a great shame that someone cannot air views in a pretty respectful way or do a job they have been asked to do that includes strong debate of morals without being forever tainted or hounded..... But we live in a country where the likes of Maggie Thatcher are derided after death.

It's always intriguing to me that the left tend to be significantly more spiteful and dogmatic.... Whilst Tony Blair is an actual warmonger and various left leaning politicians and figures have more detriment to the average individual they are allowed to retire or leave the spotlight in peace..... The same is not afforded to others.

Regardless of wether you loved her or loathed her, this is still awful news.

A. An old lady has apparently been murdered at home in a quiet rural area.
B. It will just fester more hate all around, regardless of who did it or why.

Folks love to hate, always been the same. Left or right, catholic or Protestant etc etc .. it’s sadly hard wired in for many.

As I said before, anyone that WANTS to become a politician needs looking at. It should be a civic responsibility like Jury service.

Despite having some left leaning tendencies, I agree with @JD450A that the left tend to be more bitter, but given the fact right of centre parties have been in power for about 2/3 of the time over the last hundred years or so. It’s always easier to despise those in charge than it is those that are in second place.

I’ve got a feeling that this murder is politically motivated . She might have been retired but she was still very vocal and I’d guess will be sorely missed by Reform . It’s hard to believe this could go on but she’s been around so long she would have known a lot of dirty secrets over the years .

I smell establishment involvement. Allegedly she had mentioned revealing stuff last week!

Perhaps its my biases but it feels like the authorities were very quick to announce they had arrested a WHITE BRITISH male. Now he's been released. We will see if they are as quick to disclose ethnicity if they arrest any further suspects.

To be fair, unless it’s DPD driver or a tourist there is unlikely to be any NOn white males knocking about on Dartmoor

I think the 26 year old was her gardener and visited every Thursday anyway. So stands to reason he'd be a line of enquiry. It would seem very likely (based on very low local crime rates especially a murder) that this was targeted attack, rather than an otherwise opportunist crime gone wrong.
