If I go nowadays it’s usually to the test area or the prototype development area. I used to go into the factory a lot until about 20 years ago. What were you trying?
The intention was to try the 302.7, but rather cunningly they put me in a 305 to start with, as it was BGA. o_O (Big Guy Approved). Quite happy with that, but when I tried the 302.7 after that it, felt very cramped. As one of the machines uses will be with a flail for ditches and a hedge on the other side of a ditch, my wife suggested I go for the larger machine, as it would be safer....so what could I say. :D

Something about wives preferring their husbands to have larger equipment🤔

Passing so opportunity to compare.

Long and short we are going for a 2025 Sany SY18 (brand new) same warranty as the 2026 at 5000hr/until 2031. But another near grand cheaper.... Machine is no different and I'm not fussed on shorter term resale value.

Now we wait.

Never realised the Takechui blade was so far extended in comparison. Is that across all models?

I like cake
We have sold probably 50 plus Sanys now and honestly they do not cause any bother at all . It's fantastic , some are clocking 1500 hours a year and all we have done is spin filters . Customers are happy enough
I hope the sy18 does what it says on the tin. I do believe the bigger you get the better the brand gets generic 1.5 tonne machines is a hard battle when you put so many manufacures in a hat, plus a little more sensitive to prices due to the already low end price. We have sold everything from Micros to 21 tonne, plus telehandlers

So do I. :ROFLMAO:

In all honesty, something I'm very, very impressed with is the dealer and Sany's attitude to pushing the deal across the line for a very low value/income/margin product. Very refreshing from someone who has always struggled to get dealers' attention at shows and more often than not have found looking at things an absolute waste of my time.

I just hope Sany's commitment to the UK stays strong.... I like the dealer and if the digger is good I'll gladly have another.... we will soon see!

that's pretty impressive Ross, in a relatively short space of time, since you took them on (y)

You know what, what you've said there is the reason I've had cat machines from finnings for many years. I've never once been ignored or never felt valued. Whereas other manufacturers/dealers haven't given the time or effort.

Everyone experiences different from another, hence why some rave and some slate.

Main thing is, if they satisfy you and your dealings then that's the best out come for you and the dealers.
