Yep - absolute rubbish on rough. My friend has one and on his various building projects, can only use it on finished floor slabs etc. So most of the time it just sits there with flat batteriesWaved goodbye to this one today. Shouldn’t have bought it in the first place but it’s all a learning experience
Love those diesel Wackers - the dogs nutsManaged to wangle my last job of the day over near the old homestead. Got about 3 hours in on the little end of the shed. Put the homemade grading beam on the borrowed Kubota and scratched the ground about best I could then fired up the monster whacker for a session. Despite my superior grade ear defenders it’s still ringing about 3 hours later. Turns out using the world’s largest pedestrian whacker plate under a tin roof is rather loud.
There is 19t of good scalpings sat ready for me to cover it with when I get a chance.
. My ground working mate insists on hiring one. And 'cos it's heavy have to sling it with the big red hook into place etc. But he has a weak shoulder and I have to start it for him This one has electric startLove those diesel Wackers - the dogs nuts

so decided the less stuff lying around the better. Loaded one earlier with Jack and forklift . Not too bad . Needed to take steels out of side of shed to get it out . Bolts for shed are M12 with 18mm nuts. Is that normal?
Have sold the pair of cabins I got last year . Had council enforcement sniffing around recently about my storage containers

Or the bolt manufacturer presumes they only have one set of spanners to share so have to do two different sizes
How close are your neighbours FFS? I can sometimes hear at least 3 different farms mucking out at crazy times but never given it a second thought. It's part of life . What is wrong with people.Got the second one loaded up , which made a nice big empty space, then starting moving kit into the small end for a tidy up . Removed the reverse beeper from the moffett a couple weeks ago as apparently it was annoying the neighbours. Nice and stealthy now

Cat machines have a lot of bolts with 16 and 18mm heads. Sometimes you can find 15, 16,17, 18 and 19 mm heads on the same machine.Jap m12s ....... ISO are 19mm

I think the shed was nicely amplifying the beep, and it’s a VERY loud beep. Tractor didn’t have a beep and neither does my digger or dumper so I’m not too worried . I’m safer going backwards with the Moffet than I am forwards anyway as I’m hanging over the back . It’s the offside front that’s the danger area imho.
