it’s been a busy month for sure, the truck order was placed end of November, just been getting painted silver ready to collect now. Then my van went the cylinder head, she was due changing next year and ford are doing a scrapage scheme so she went and got a new transit 350 RWD limited 185ps and then on Sunday just past I managed to collect a deer with the front of my discovery and the airbags went off in my face and I’m still waiting to hear if it’s getting fixed or total loss. So might be change all round. It’s going to have to be a busy year next year

Me and Lister were coming back from Euro auctions one nite and I hit a deer, think the only saving grace is that we were in a van sat quite high up, otherwise that would of been through the windscreen to, it’s frighting how quickly they seem to appear out of nowhere.

Have always been told, if one appears be careful, cos they usually come in two’s.
Don’t know what was more shocking, hitting the deer, or Lister dispatching it and gutting it, in his best clothes and not getting a speck of blood on him

On a ride out with a mate last year in the new forest and one jumped out in front of him, literally appreared from nowhere

must of only missed it by 2 inches, scared the crap out of us both tbh cos could of been really really nasty

Couple years back used to go to Edinburgh six nights a week,lol two hour shifts,coldstream road there's no verge in places,just hedge onto road,coming home one morning heard a bang n looked at passenger side saw a dears face sliding along window,used to drive along certain parts of road,no houses,pipping horn randomly just to stop the daft things jumping out

You used to be able to get something that attached to your bumper that made a whistling noise that they could hear. A few guys I know used to swear by them.

Sure that’s not the deer making that noise as it’s been dragged along......that’s a really good idea

I am in process of looking at vans just now, had MAN TGE 4x4 180 for a few days last week, and was pleased with it! Definitely up their! Trying to get a demo of the new sprinter and see how it goes but I dare say the MAN is top of the list so far

MAN and crafter are now much and much the same, the new sprinter is same as new Renault vans

What Renault van is the same as the new sprinter? I haven’t seen any like mine, I’ve got the the new 2018 onwards model with touch screen dash.

I think the movano is still the same as the Nissan and vauxhall, the citan is a kangoo and the Vito has gearboxes and possibly engine from renailt
