Bit of a major repair on today 😆 the "teeth" that control the deck height on the lawn mower wore/bent/fecked up, happened when transporting it and the deck was up.
Been like that a season or 4 now but decided to repair it properly.
Cut a new set of teeth out of Hardox and cut the old one out and welded the new on in, should out last the mower I reckon

yeah, I dont bother totting those up afterwards if it gets close to not making anything- just satisfy yourself you did a good job despite the challenge and move on 👍

Not too bad. It's less intuitive than the 175 with crowd on the floor..... But in all honesty there is a sweet spot and you wind up crowding the whole arm anyway.

I suspect we will sort a second line off the king post at some point as it'd be handy to run the breaker and grab for some upcoming jobs 🤔. Can also see the boom I brought off @Grahams being modified to suit a 130 🤫

The guy I got to weld it up didn't listen and the angle of the attachment plate wasn't ideal, but it did the job which is what counts at the end of the day.

suprisingly good, everyone whos ridden it seems to like it, bloke with exc reckons its a contender when he changes.
We swopped for a while and exc has a pokey motor and its great fun for a couple of hours daftness but for a day of 150kms of trails with some fairly tight stuff its deff a lot harder work, I didnt mind giving it back tbh , v harsh suspension and uncomfortable in comparison, ajp is very comfortable, easy to ride, lacks a bit of top end maybe but has grippy low down snort which is more useful in reality, imho brillant suspension as is, the way it soaks up stuff when your cracking on is bloody impressive, if you're Chris Birch then yeah the exc is ultimately better for hard stuff, but I come from riding trials and its daft what it will do if you're daft enough to chuck it at it 🤦
biggest negative is a lack of steering lock ,this back end I might have the rads altered as it would tap rads if you wound the lock stops in but with a bit of reshaping of rads there is a,fair bit more lock to be had.
So Yeah , all that to say I really like it and it held its own when riding tight stuff with the husky 501 and exc this weekend 👌
