New hose made up this morning (JIC fittings) and popped it on when passing. It’s ALIVE again. Think it’s got another 4 or 5 metres lift yet above that in photo, but makes me dizzy looking at it from the ground let along standing in it 🫣

I'm fine with heights but took a big boom lift out into the yard one day a few years ago for a laugh and went straight up. 17m I think. Frig it was horrid .bit of a breeze as well. Give me some nice rock anytime

When I get the blue one back to the yard I’ll get that up high for the view. That has at least got leveller legs and a in date safety certificate

I did that on a job on my own all the way up then
Boomed out the extension up as well think it was about 16m then the thing went to lock out! Momentary panic thinking I might need to call the fire brigade lol
How the guys do those huge crane ones at golf or football no thanks

Productive Saturday afternoon. Got another 5 panels in on my own. Not impressed with the quality control. The fixing eyes are not positioned correctly or consistently and some are proud and some are pissed and one was stripped out. Won’t matter ultimately as I am going to cast them into the web for a good solid fix and to help keep the rodents out. It’s still annoying though. Will send a query email with photos to suppliers, and depending on their response may get the next lot from another supplier.
Not sure if this level of quality is the norm, or if I am fussy.
Little shed instantly feels a lot bigger already after dropping panels in.
Measured up for the timber cladding and getting some prices in. Want/need it dry by hay making time as promised.
Started out using the crane jib, but it make the job worse as I couldn’t pick the panels up without a very long strop, and even with it as short as I could, the jib still got in the way and would have needed the upper C-Rail removing which I couldn’t assed with. Much easier just lifting with a sling over the forks.
Have put the jib back on marketplace as it’s annoyed me now.

Back on it today.
Picked up a pair of cheap concrete lids from BIL. Technical hitch (me being an idiot) means they won’t fit the 2 rings JDP just delivered. That’s £36 for them to carry out another delivery / swap , but I can’t be assed to haul them into town and swap them over for that money.
Load of ballast turned up. Paid for 10t upfront and got 9.48ton Need to chat about that tomorrow.
Need to push it up into a better heap when I’ve got a clean bucket on a machine.
Got the mixer out for first time this year and started on casting in my concrete panels. Not done formwork much before so a steep learning curve. Might get the hang of it after 22 of them.
Carried out some wheelbarrow surgery.
Picked the old Honda Genny up from repair shop as it wouldn’t run without choke on Tuesday. Air filter was falling apart and getting sucked into carb. Should have been able to work that out myself 🫣
Just noticed the new trailer didn’t come with rear props. Would have kept them off old trailer if I had known. I have props on the tipper that NEVER been used, I think they are the same but need to check. Different mounting though.

mine have rusted and gone bit manky after 4 years wound them out and a greased them the other day but compared tot he rest of the trailer they've suffered hardest, but will do at back underside I guess

I priced up a new Ifor tipper with high sides and winch etc yesterday - cannot believe how much they’ve gone up!!!
£8k plus vat now for that spec…..

I think I just need the mounting lugs, the actual props appear the same as the tipper. My tipper is only 2.5m long so the props are pointless.
Suprised they are included on a base spec on a tipper but not the LM
