Goes against my instincts but I half fancy trying this if...it's M18 fit. Apparently does Makita.

I dont have any knockoff tools apart from this one. Fits the makita battery. Been a good buy for the 20 or 30 quid it cost. The katsu makita copies are supposed to be pretty good too.

Those are nice because they have volume. We have the other Dewalt compressor which will do forklift tyres . Awesome bit of kit.

I buy the knock off little Mellif ones for the service guys as they fit in the tool box and fine for boiler expansion vessels.

Small hand dig footings job to do this week.

Monday I pushed it back to do some 'urgent' trial holes to put us in the running for a different job.

Tuesday didn't even bother going in, total pisser.

Today turned up, nice clear day, unloaded truck. Neighbour comes out and says 'are you digging? They haven't had party wall agreement done'

That's this week f***ed then 😡

Dealing with wet soil, told them far too wet but they seem desperate for it to be finished, so that's been a waste of a day plus the welfare unit has decided to burst a pipe somewhere, was using it all through the Xmas break in whatever minus degrees it was but it's now decided to start leaking

No nothing in there at all. All services run the other side of the plot..."you sure?" "Yep"....

Sometime later.. ppsssshhhhhh.

Old black water service, 34mm od. Fortunately there was an agri supplies shop just down the road and had the fittings to make it work.

Ps you'll also notice the drain in there, a bt duct and a bt armoured cable
