when I lived in Munich had snow types on my golf we had snow in September and was white till march some morning -26 celsius etc proper cold, snow tires were night and day compared to normal tires etc

over here living the hilly peaks (about 460m max height) ive never been stuck in just good all terrain tires, including cutting new tracks in 6-10" powder or on compressed icy roads etc, chains be handy on the compressed icy roads depending but seems like an over reach for the amount of snow we get, especially down your way to have chains in a 4x4?

even in beast from the east when we had 3-4 weeks of snow was still out and about every day in 4x4 with ko2 etc on

what you need chains for ? :ROFLMAO:
could look at rock chains for it, but'd make a hell of a mess of tarmac

but again, tarmac'd not love them
these don't look quite as aggressive and might sit nicely on those Bandenmarkt twins on there

Don't complain - suggest what's better
Was going to suggest forestry chains, but seen Canal Navy beat me to it. Having seen some on a Menzi the spikes are wicked. No-one will want to carry your machine on a low loader and the tarmac damage would be significant, but the grip and tyre protection is awesome.
