Copper isn’t that great at the moment but no signs of it getting better. My buyer has been unwilling to take it for last 18 months so we ended up with a lot backed up . We usually have about £6-7K of scrap a year and I like to see it gone very regularly as I’m always wary of some pikey helping themselves. Will keep it gone more regularly in future.
What sort of price do you call great?

Weighed a load of non ferris in last week and got these prices per tonne pro rata from the dealer:
Heavy copper £5,400
Brass £3,300
Copper tanks £45
Did that with my 14 year old grandson Jack, teaching him the value of scrap metal.
He loved it 'cos having handles and sorted it all for me I gave him 50%
So our small pickup truck load paid for a tank of diesel and an ice cream each
