UU are the same, have to hire the standpipe off they're approved contractor, forget the name but it's painted light blue, NRV fitted and usual got a meter on. Also no keen on anyone having the 2" one.

'Birthday' outing, a month late as I was busy last month, did a 14hr day of fencing and tree work instead
Thrapston Collective, trailer load of odds n sods to get rid of, including the 4 old gates I couldn't stand to see skipped I've only handled them once to load them and unload them so if they pay for a couple bacon rolls that will do
Few bits I've got my eye on, some for the shed and some to try and sell on
Some real junk here too, wouldn't be a sale otherwise...

Not a bad day out- weighing crate in need of a spruce up, £15, 48 hole pigeon holes £28 (complete with random bits), another little plough- think it's ferguson, sure I saw it stamped somewhere. Over doubled my money on the last one, and this one was 50 quid less at £75 plus vat
Also got a pallet (36) of heat treated 3.5x3.5 8ft timbers. £6 each, including a ratchet strap and a wooden frame Most of them are earmarked for a compost bin for a customer so an easy profit there 
Selling was pretty much a washout-literally! Absolutely dumped it down 5 minutes before my stuff went through and as they were the last lots there were only about 6 people left
I think the auctioneer did very well to get the £115 (after commison) I ended up with

I used to use a 2 inch pump dropped in the hydrant and open it up til the pump could keep up with it. Didn’t take long to fill a bowser that way

I know it’s a different size dumper, but sometimes my 1t sounds horrible when you jump off and leave it idling, can’t stop the engine cover vibrating. I guess videos help but nothing better than seeing a machine in person.

Was looking at the engine closeup and the pipes are vibrating like crazy on it, wouldn’t be surprised if something else was abit bent under it as well ! Went for 21k plus fees.. not sure if that’s a good deal or not

It is understood that the fire was caused due to a tyre blowout on axle 4, drivers nearside. The blowout resulted in a chassis mounted hydraulic line being damaged. We consider it plausible that a mist of hydraulic fluid was released from the damaged line and the sparks from the wheel hub contacting the road caused the fluid to ignite which resulted in major damage. Fire damage predominately to the rear of the vehicle including chassis, boom etc. Front cab and top cab all salvageable. "
