Tbf £200 ish..... Can't actually fault it, half hours fkn around for two people, chair, drill and a suction excavator..... Don't see it as expensive.
's what it cost Pam a few weeks ago -- wouldn't have been so bad, if it hadn't been a tooth they'd persuaded her to spend 400+ quid on having it repaired less than 6 months earlier :mad:

Dual wheels help a lot, as do the wheel studs.

Outside the cab photos of the bunny slopes only as there’s no way I trust that handbrake enough to hold on the steep bits!

I am in the very lucky minority of having an NHS dentist still. Our old dentists struck us off back in mid 2000s for the whole family missing the appointment (1st October, and we forgot to turn calendar over till it was too late) They did us a favour really as they have long since gone fully private, and the ones we went to instead are still running NHS :)
Although......... I did have to go private for a root canal a couple years ago as that particular tooth was too technical for NHS. That cost me £750 which hurt more than the root canal!

More grip aswell going backwards, like buck raking. You've got the right yolk for the job
The back tyres are actually on the conventional way. I could reverse them, it did cross my mind today that I should have done that when fitting the duals. But with the hard ground, the studs are doing most of the work I think.

It’s standard on alpine tractors to reverse the front tyres. That way when in reverse drive your steering axle has the best traction possible.

Lots of the old 3cx boys ran their fronts backwards...reckoned to get more life out of them while tramping. I only did when it was because of a damaged tyre and the spare rim was made up for the opposite side...but if you put a back tyre on in reverse it wouldn't half howl, you soon got a new/replacement one on the right way round.

I never had to do it, but a few times I saw mi dad bring a 3cx back on 3 wheels when he'd been out and had an oopsie with a front and no spare available....dare say you be shot now if you did the same.

Had a visit today from @Mogman to lift a bridge off for me at small gaff? Plonked it down and hopefully we’ll be putting it back in some time in the future. 10m bridge 3540kg all hardwood.

wow - just getting round to that one - must be pushing two years or more, since that was first mentioned?
that's quite a lift at that reach, for a hiab/loader crane (y)
ground's not gonna get any harder/drier, than it is currently, to get on to :giggle:

That’s not a bad turnaround for some jobs lol, lift and crane setup took less than 30 mins, we got there about 9 had our tool box talk about the white tail cray fish and stripped the boards got it slung/slinged?

Paul arrived around 10:40 after crash on m6 setup and the bridge was on the skids 20 mins later.

Paperwork and emails have taken far longer than that.

By all accounts it get VERY wet at kedleston when the time arrives!

Fun and games this week.

First time using one of these Bobcats, brilliant machine. Wouldn't have been able to do it without the extra width on the tracks allowing me to straddle the trench.
