I asked engineer about it and bco but ground bearing was preferred and I’d still have to over sited it with concrete and block and beam would be struggle on my own lol

Well no sooner had i praised the clamshell then the rotator started pissing oil. Luckily I’d done all I needed by that time.

Bit of tidying up where we pulled the scrub. Then machines parked up ready for the lorry on Monday. Finished just before the rain. Looking pretty miserable out there now on the camera.

Put a tank in at this house autumn last year - back to do a bit of parking,topwater drains and a tidy up for now.
Hum drum sort of jobs but very local and keeps us ticking during winter, so quick and easy with the setup we have now that it feels like cheating compared to before.

is that a Terex dumper ? I’m after a used 1 ton high tip dumper and seen a few of them for sale - would you recommend ?

That's a 3t hi Tip - @Gunners is your dumper expert ...maybe it doesn't suit our setup in some ways but tip isnt high enough to get shut of wet material and skip is an awful shape to get aggregates out of with a 1200 scandi bucket, on plus side Hydro gearbox is brilliant after having a manual gearbox, swivel tip is still handy, and its been very reliable other than wanting a starter motor.
Paint is mainly dispersed around nw france in large flakes.

don't have much to say about the style, it's different thats for sure.The little house has an interesting story, it's is being renovated by a gutsy lady in her 80's whos husband is on dialysis multiple days a week, they live on the coast ,its in a little hamlet that her parents were born in, left for work and subsequently returned to for their retirement in 1968, they spent their retirement there, then when they were gone it was left empty for a long time till this woman bought her siblings out and decided she wanted to see it renovated.
When we looked round it with her last year it was as if someone had literally walked out their door after breakfast in the 80's and never returned, fascinating.

Had a couple of hours in the machine finishing off because monday Forcast is horrendous so want to get out of there.
10m in and thought there was a dodgy smell, checked around to see if a josser was burning plastic ...nope, another few minutes had me checking under canopies for something amiss.
Took me a moment or two a minute to clock the glove over the exhaust ....hmmm what can u say

not alone there Kev .... I have an old 4 litre plastic fence paint bucket that lives on the 'Drema's exhaust to keep the rain out, held down with a bungee ..... It's a "garage" knocked through from main house into back which has made another bedroom.is the extension a garage, or part of the house/accommodation ??

Yeah it's fairly regular scenario - but thus was eiree inside - bed still made up, paper and coffee mug on table, toothpaste and brush in sink etc, and they prob hadnt done anything inside since the 70's so it was quite peculiar.

A day in the mud for the farmer up the road - putting the ducting in place for the grand connection of his shed roof to the grid.
Mighty impressed with the tiltrotator and how easy it made life - he set off with great intentions with his spade and then leant on it all day
