Spent most of the day battling this poxy old clay pipe surrounded by concrete with gas, water and electric right next to it...

Can’t beat a clamshell for rehandling bulky crap.
This is a dump site from three years ago getting consolidated to make more room. Also great for loading a dumper with pulled root balls.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
that's a loading clam .. good for loose materials ...
would get even better results with a digging clam - more closing power/bite ...
or rough it all up a bit with a tooth/ripper/toothed bucket first, although you do seem to be getting a good 'mouthful' there TBF

Playing with conveyors getting 16 ton of some recycled free draining fill in to start filling to slab level.
Cable drum supports working well, makes moving it across levels etc on your own easy but at 67kg a conveyor they’re not fun on your own wrestling them into position
CCTV on phone handy to monitor the pile at end I couldn’t see lol

Yeah and we aren’t really full time site bashing Groundworkers, we do a fair bit of building and stone work etc interesting mix of stuff bore me to death doing same stuff everyday
Also invest in stuff like conveyors to make tasks easier and quicker than ferrying it with dumper tipping it over level change then messing around moving it again etc
