Yet we have tiltrotators that are heavy and expensive. I get the drawbacks, but must be more than just cost / weight ? Why is it standard spec on backhoe in the West but really rare on 360.

Good shout , I had a sliding boom on 806C jcb years ago and it was handy . A sliding dipper would be a good option .
