that's an old girlWas waking this wee beastie up from its winter slumbers and was wondering if anyone on here knows much about them![]()
I wonder why we don't see more sliding dippers on 360s?that's an old girl
were good weapons though
spent a good few hours in a 3.5t (?) model, without the extending dipper, many years ago digging a hangar (45' x 22') of a garage base out of a big bank for a mate (luckily had a huge hole in the forestry next to his place)
Cost, weight.I wonder why we don't see more sliding dippers on 360s?
Yet we have tiltrotators that are heavy and expensive. I get the drawbacks, but must be more than just cost / weight ? Why is it standard spec on backhoe in the West but really rare on 360.Cost, weight.
Good shout , I had a sliding boom on 806C jcb years ago and it was handy . A sliding dipper would be a good option .Yet we have tiltrotators that are heavy and expensive. I get the drawbacks, but must be more than just cost / weight ? Why is it standard spec on backhoe in the West but really rare on 360.
