Not for here, but very complex reasons why I'm not.

Possibly when the course is said and done.... But not worth complicating her life ATM, she's had enough of that and deserves a friend who gives a s**t. I am genuinely privileged to know her, fornominal mind she has.
Anything I say here will probably come across as condescending. So I’m going to try to explain through the medium of folk music.

Bit of work over weekend, i really do hate block laying but has to be done. New makita saw working a treat, does cut out if you push too hard but i think all battery ones are like that. Was nicer on the neighbours to not having the petrol one ringing out.

Here’s my advice.. on many subjects!
Time waits for no-one !!
That's fine if your selfish enough not to consider the flipside. Reality is the reasons I'm not aren't down to me and it's easy to hurt people that are already hurting.
I'm very good at falling for extremely hurt people unfortunately. Part of the way I am is i'd rather hurt myself than risk complicating or hurting them more..... Stupid as it is I have my reasons.

Your doing the right thing I reckon. See how the friendship evolves- good things come to those who wait. The fact that she's out helping you with the dam's in the middle of Feb suggests she thinks alot of you 😊

the entire job :oops::oops:
Our original price for the house build was around 6.3million. It will be closer to 8 by the time we done with all the changes and messing about by client. Changes that we get very little compensation for hence why we getting concrete cutters to do demo as well. If we did it with our selves would have to argue it with clients QS and end up with peanuts. They cant argue a invoice from a subby. It will be a fantastic house when its done but il be glad to see the back of this one.

I don’t think customers quite understand how much it costs when they change their minds!! Glad I don’t work for the general population anymore!!
Yeh one day id like to start doing some for ourselves maybe when the old man retires will have a go. Would probs still want to keep one on the go for a client at same time though. Slightly less risky when its someone elses money, as long as you dont end up with a bad client. The job we’re on now is a nightmare but both the husband and wife are very nice people, just lots of changes. Also doesnt help they kicked one firm of architects off and have ended up with a 1man band on a project that size.
