Yep, even though I knew I was going to get it wrong I chose 3. Couldn't see those bits until someone pointed them out.I was amazed at what we didn't 'register' - myself included
As you know I do a bit of gardening and also we live halfway down a steep hill, lots of rain and wind.
This means I've been messing around with capturing water when it's available to put on the plants when it's not.
It's been an interesting lesson in physics and I've learned a fair bit. I've ended up with 3 IBCs and even though i'm stood by them I can't work out some of the crazy s**t that's happening with the water flows, it's beyond science

Just remember they are not spending their own money. This will be money taken in through your water bill. Now we can see how Stammer wants to get growth. Allow the bills to go up so you pay for the “growth” required to stimulate the economy. I'm interested to know why they're linking all the wettest counties together? Can only assume the population around Manchester has increased so much that they need more water than they have space for reservoirs?

After having a bit of a read it's the replacement of existing ones which have been there since 1950 serving Manchester.
Apparently carries 570 million litres per day, just imagine how much power they could make if they put a hydro turbine in it.

Yep it's replacement etc. well worth looking into Haweswater and Thirlmere pipelines. Mind blowing achievements back in the day if you know the geography involved.
Thirlmere is nigh on 100miles gravity fed!! Over some "interesting" terrain. Them lads knew their stuff
