Going to sound harsh, but a mid range product at a premium price. Good backup from Molsons but the flipside is they somehow manage to keep them worth top money both new and second hand. Which is good once you own it.

They don't personally excite me, BUT that's true for most of the newer stuff.

Funny you say that as I have never been a fan of king post mounted TB175 Takeuchi and I have only driven one. When my mate said he had this one available and it is a conventional mounted boom my first thought was exactly the description you just said!!

Thank you all for the comments. I have a couple of jobs that need the bigger digger. Still have the Kx71-3 with the tilty on it for the right spots. Been using a Manitou this summer when I needed some extra lift and reach but that has now gone. I ran a fixed boom Ex60 for many many years and I seem to think (all though not checked charts) that they are more balanced and lift better!! I might be on here Monday with the digger on its side saying that theory was wrong!!
As for putting a tilty on it....there have been some budget discussions!!
Will be interesting to see if I can still drive a digger without the yellow and black thing hanging off the end...flattering my driving ability!!
