3t selector grab

Considering get a rotating selector grab for the ez26. Any recommendations on make and model etc? What aux services do they require? Ours has one aux, which is on the left joystick, assuming a rotating grab needs 2, so can a solenoid be put in and press a button to swap between rotate and grab?

nice .. would look so much better/neater with the 6 x 2 diverter to rotator plumbing in steel though

For God's sake divert the offset not the first aux. Not being able to use both the grab and rotate at once would be like having one hand tied behind your back.

Yet to test mine so cant say either way....looks decent with everything greasable etc

I guess then you could just use a manual tap to divert rather than solenoid.. at least your only partly debilitated

Not that easy on the Wackers, they use the main aux for boom swing also

You wont have that problem on mine, ET24 with 2 aux services, although you may have forgot, it was the last APF show when I asked

Ive a dala grippen off aiden and its been good for us so far and tested it with some big lumps 2 years or so in to it now

Been very pleased with my Intermacato TG16U (I think). Can get a grab of soil with it if it's not too dry!

Did nearly 400 meters of granite walling with it back in the autumn, did all the rebuilding with the grab including backfilling soil and it's wearing well, a bit of the corner of the plates worn down but can easily turn the plates round if needed

the Kinshoffer HPX drive is good, but they are a hell of a price in comparison to their ram actuated grabs/grapples/clams and even more eye watering compared to other manufacturers' offerings
the interchangeable shell system does give you some flexibility and options -- at a price

That’s a lot more than we need, plus it’s over double the weight of the dala gripen Aiden posted above. Looking at a few options but the dala gripen seems to be the best option

Nice looking grab. But how does the diverter work do you have to switch over between grab and rotate?

Crikey- Id have thought will ruin the rhythm big time. Could it not have been diverted from the offset itself? Or is it because you only have one set of aux which is in itself already diverted from offset?
