By the same token, there was a phone-in on the radio this morning talking about The ONS going on strike. Some very interesting points raised about why WFH works for many people and it should be about efficiency.

My wife has WFH since 2008. She has worked for her current company for about 7 years. She has been to the office once for a face to face interview after several phone interviews. She went on the first day of her employment to collect her company laptop, to be told it was sent by a courier and she left 5mins after arriving. She has never stepped foot inside that building or their new office in the UK since. Most of her work is calls after calls and emails. She is able to work far more efficiently as she doesn’t have to do all what going to the office entails. They get there monies worth!!

The question for The ONS is, are we getting our monies worth??

is and always has been a bloody nightmare of a junction, especially on the 4 as you have the M32 traffic to contend with as well ..... even back in the mid '70s it was a complete 'mare ... total lack of lane discipline being the principal issue, with ppl hopping about, 'tween lanes ....... needs barrier/bollard-ing ... stop 'em wandering and slowing traffic ... any one ****ing up can get off at the numerous roundabouts and sort their sh1t out - not piss ppl off by diving from lane to lane

So Port Talbot definitely shutting 2 furnaces UK will be at the mercy of any country that supplies quality steel.
