Can someone identify this please

Still having electrical issues with my pc138 have found a short in these wires but can't identify what it is? It has height and slew restrictor fitted and the main problem is slew brake won't release could this be part of that system. Many thanks

looks like a fancy two into one plug/socket set up, but the pic 's not the best ... what's the pic of the valve bank for Mart, or is that a part of restrictors hydraulic controls?

I gave part number to kedge worth and they couldn't identify it as its not standard as far as they can tell, they suggested height restrictor

As you can see 2 have lights on the other 2 are shorting out so just trying to find out what they do

Looks like an X watch type valve maybe?
Send us more pictures please?

ah right
as in the coils have gone short circuit/to earth? New coils required? have you had the coils off and tried energising them with a suitable battery voltage to see what they do - i.e. the coils are shorting, not another part of their circuit?

There's a break in the wires by the connector, if it's to do with the height and slew restrictor then possibly that's why the slew break intermittently won't release

had this issue with the 'Drema, not long after getting it ... turned out to be a solenoid coil .. looked fine, but wasn't producing enough magnetism to pull the shuttle ... swapped with a known good one and cured the issue, so new one acquired

Don't know if these help

You sure the solenoids are shorting out or just not being supplied with power due to a faulty connection, sensor or controller? All the light means is that the solenoid is being energised. So those other solenoids might not be energised due to a system fault, correct operation or the system deliberately not allowing power to those valves.

there is power to the plug ....
I have had one where although it was lit, the connections from the plug to the solenoid weren't making proper contact - whip the solenoid off put a steel rod/bolt/screwdriver in the centre and check it is actually producing a strong magnetic field
if it ain't try it with an independent power feed - if that works it's the plug - don't trust the meter in the plug connections ... have also had one showing 24v, but such a poor connection it wouldn't supply the solenoid with sufficient current to operate it and produce a strong/full magnetic field
or...
could get a couple of DIN plugs and put some direct feeds to those two solenoids (over-riding whatever isn't feeding them) and see if all is well ;) ( I have a couple of over-ridden circuits on't 'Drema 'cos the dash's switches can be temperamental - power feed through a separate switch [one leg and axle locks] )
better to have some spares sat about
or just buy a few
I've always got half a dozen or more sat about - never know when one is gonna give you grief
Don't know if these help
second pic looks to be the servo control / feed valve bank for sticks/pedals/slew/etc.. controlled by the dead man switches - hence the single solenoid at the top......
pipes - top down --- left and right stick feedds, -- tracking lever feed , -- slew motor and brake feed, -- tracking lever feed ...... would be my guess without actually laying eyes on the beast
Behind thise red caps there is most likely an over ride screw .
Screw it in or out to manually over ride rhe solenoid!
or could even be a push button over-ride Aiden .... all the Cetop3s I have are a simple push button - push with a point of some description -- I have one screw in on the 'Drema - everything else is push in to over-ride

I think this box might be part of this as it has the same sort of connector

Also I don't know how height restrictor works but surely you don't need all that pipe work and valve block?

They were lit up till I fiddled with the wire then they flash on and off till they stopped altogether
