110mm pvc Pipe cutter

I have all 3 of the styles of chamfer tools the metex is the best one imho

That's reminded me to order the Metex one, may as well have the full set, been using the Innotec and interested to see how the Metex compares, thing i like about the Innotec is the replaceable cutting edges. How long do the Metex stay sharp ?

it is!

put in drill and spin.

it self adjusts to pipe diameter. Doesn't bind/grab and try to snap your wrists like the other types.

I’ve had pipe and fittings off them before. I wouldn’t say they were Brett Martin quality but weren’t bad.

I like Osma but boy are the manhole bases and fittings over priced!

Use these quite a bit, sure it’s not got osma written on it but it’s good enough and well priced. Also you don’t have to have an account to get decent prices. Really pisses me off when I go in somewhere, absolutely clear to any clear sited person that I’m trade due to the embroidered hi viz but they won’t give you a decent discount because you’ve not got an account with them.

Flowplast are made by osma. Think I'm on 87% now and still expensive lol

Is that like polydrain. I think it's made by poly pipe. Either way it's a budget version and shocking quality. We broke 3 chamber bases in a day trying to use them in cold weather. No problem at all with the poly pipe stuff on site.

The flow flowplast stuff isn't bad tbf the pipe seems more like the older type a little harder but more brittle

I stick with polypipe (or JDP if I can loose the delivery cost in the job) these days, no issues with it at all.. never tried the cheaper stuff, but I don’t fancy having to go back digging up drains I’ve laid because of cheap plastic pipe fittings. not saying they are crap , but a higher probability that they won’t be as good as the branded gear!

I assumed Polydrain was a separate entity as the risers don't work with Polypipe bases.

It's a pain mixing brands so I just stick with Osma as I get it cheap enough for it not to be worth the risk using the unknown brands.

I don't really know. I just assumed as our supplier is supposedly all poly pipe then the poly drain stuff turns up.
The actual units aren't to much of the problem its the seals. They are so hard the winter you break the bases trying to fit pipes and the rest of the year they are prone to leaking

I have told purchasing they are carp but they have never fitted a pipe in their life so just like the pat on the back for getting gear cheap
