@Storrsy ... hoping this make you feel better. I was laboring for a mason for a year or so when I was 20. Used to lift and carry 4 blocks at a time with grabs. Thought I was clever. Took years to get my back normal, then the knees took over.. fast forward to my late 30s and one of my knees was so bad that I couldn't do a lot of jobs. Lost a bit of weight and did a bit more exercise and started daily Tumeric and it's almost completely gone. Might be nothing to do with lifestyle changes bit who knows? But diet / fitness / exercise can have a huge impact on our working lives..

I’ve started on turmeric, about a month in now. knees feel ‘odd’ like something is happening to them, wouldn’t say it’s fixing them yet though.. mine are really clunky and one has a horrible sharp pressure point in it, kneel down on it wrong and it feels like you’ve knelt on a nail!

What about turmeric in curries etc. I have loads of curries egg fried rice and whack a load of turmeric in cos I like the colour. Or is there something different about the turmeric in pill form.
Well scientifically I don't think it's working for you......

Booked Nick yet?

No idea what is in the pill form, but the received wisdom (from the "alternative medicine that works" sources), it needs to be "lightly roasted with pepper" to become fully effective - it seems the pepper is a catalyst for the turmeric).
It rather sounds like witchcraft to me, hence my interest in the results from people who have tried it.
A lot of people report positive results, so it does seem a lot more than the placebo effect.
