Nice. Presume youve got ADR though?

Not yet.. something I’ve put off thinking about. Daresay I will at some point as I like having a toe in the door for messing with liquid fuels. Having a transport solution that looks the part is more than halfway to not getting pulled. Also apparently ADR only applies once you hit 25mph though…. So if I don’t leave second gear it’s ok!?

Spent a couple hours fetching this one back. It’s been washed out and cleaned inside the bund and tank by previous owner. He’s even got all the new stickers for it he gave me. I just need to decide on a nice colour for it now. Shall be using it for the odd job to move fuel about. I occasionally get asked by fuel companies to go and pump out an oil tank full of diesel (or vice versa) and usually I’m offered the fuel for free as a bonus. Up till now I’ve declined as I’m not enough of a Pikey to use IBCs. This will weight 2860 full up so will sit nicely inside the GH1054BT and just be legal.

is it baffled .... be a handful otherwise on the move ... could even turn the trailer over in the right situation and make braking 'interesting' on over-run brakes

It should be…. The spec I down loaded for it shows it baffled.

Please bear in mind that I’m in the Wild West here, it’s a bit like Ireland. Most people down here that transport excavators don’t strap em down. We only see VOSA on Wednesdays when it’s market day and they dip the farmers tanks for Red.

Friend of mine did that with a milk tanker trailer and killed someone. 6 months in prison for that.
