Have you video when running and under load?

Just recorded these clips. Sorry the last in cab shot isn’t great. But hopefully demonstrates the point. Done with 3/4 throttle tracking on concrete not pushing or loaded. Does the same with the arm moving even when digging mid air not moving soil.

The other two shots are at idle no load and 3/4 throttle no load. Digger will track and move and idle without stalling so don’t think hydraulics are overloading the engine.

It’s what I do!
Have watched all three vids but it sounds like the one marked idling is the same vid as 3/4 throttle no load! Observations from what I have seen, fuel delivery is not constant or equal from each pump or injector, it’s very noisy! Are all the pumps connected to the throttle rail/rod? is the governor working? It seems like you have a lazy cylinder (the pump rack doesn’t advance with the others) the other 3 are carrying it!

The pumps are all brand new and linked by a fuel/throttle rack. They won't really fit if the rack isn't in the correct position. I had the stop solenoid removed and held the rack central as I installed each pump, making extra sure that they were aligned correctly. The rpm doesn't seem to show up very well on recording but the throttle is set in two different positions maybe I should record one at full rpm? I wondered if the governer could be at fault as it allows the rpm to dip when load is applied. But all the pumps are connected so can't really operate differently from one another and the compression on each cylinder is identical? You fancy a day out in Lancashire? Also I know not very technical but as I'm a hearing aid user and struggle to differentiate sounds I usually check the exhaust and feel for a pulse change i.e. a miss. Can usually detect a miss this way long before I can hear it and this seems constant and no drop in exhaust flow?

Getting 4 even exhaust pulses? That’s a good sign! Can you find yourself 4 bottles the same size and clean, 4 bits of fuel hose that will fit on the nozzles of the pumps when the injector pipes are removed?

Yeah can do, you thinking of checking to see if they are all delivering an even amount of fuel?

Exactly, make sure you have a good battery, if you can get all 4 pumps piped up, and on idle turn over for 20 secs, there maybe a minute difference, empty all the bottles after drawing a line marker where the fuel level is, with empty bottles do the same again at 3/4 throttle mark line them! Send pics.

Will report back once I’ve carried out the above.
