How did the leg rams not fold?!
probably 3"+ rods Dan and didn't get up to enough of an angle ... outriggers are surprisingly 'robust' ....
looks to be a Zoomlion 45 tonner so may even have been 3.5" jacks ....
more curious is WTF did he have his F/O/S drive wheel under his steering axle ...
obviously in the process of changing out a puncture, looking at what he'd just driven over, getting into that position and the rim laid on the floor, but why was he ON the wheel/tyre ????o_O:unsure:
What is most questionable is WTF was he thinking climbing up that pile of crap and then setting up on it FFS
Utter madness and exceptionally lucky to recover as he did ..... certainly giving the winch all he had with his right foot

A total of 81 truck loads will be driven with a 1,450 tonne Liebherr LR 11350 crane

to lift out a collapsed railway Bridge in Norway

They are working pretty close to the crane’s limits too - what a mega project!
Lifting an estimated 263 tonnes at 58m is ridiculous!

The actual costs involved seem incredible, especially when they are going to re-manufacture the recovered sections if they can’t be reused following inspection.
How was this bridge built in the first place? Why not just rebuild it?

Because of today's HSE rules, it will be f****** much more expensive than reusing the old bridge elements

The bridge on the right in the picture, which is the old train The bridge is today a road and both the bridge and the tunnel are too low for today's trains
Therefore, train traffic cannot be temporarily placed there

The pictures are from the building of the bridge, it was open in 14. juni 1957

I've been looking in on that webcam regularly, the last few days Frank and they've taken some time to assemble that beast .... i've yet to see a body in shot, when I look - anytime of the day
