I was surprised the Midi CX did not take off, far more sold in the states than here, it was launched just before the Bosch Rexroth hystat tranny for small tractors that allows them to do 25 mph. That said JCB have been trying to sell the concept of a removable hoe since at least the 1968 2B (the 3 was the same but with a fixed hoe) might though have been viable on a smaller lighter tractor. Maybe the Midi had faults that I know not of?
They were around 28k when new. A 2cx was prity much the same. So was no brainer on what you went for

The tracked version is probably alright but the wheeled version only has 1 drive motor per side and chains to the front axle. I'm sure most if not all skidsteer manufacturers have gone away from this setup due to chains snapping.
I remember rolls and rolls of chain hanging on the walls of my old man's workshop for repairing drive chains on skidsteers and chippers.

Hey! A little info about the stick this ex, has the same length as the original but can be pushed out 1050mm, we are testing 2 different variants now and we will see what will be best. A website and several variants are coming soon.
