Just bought a dumper!!

It’s what I do!
Has your dumper got a serial number? I have an orbital but may be to late for your dumper!

It’s too new for yours, it has a priority valve built in, and the hoses fit in to the side of the block! The hoses aren’t an issue with 90’s but not sure where your priority valve is!

Not sure either, what does it do?
The hydraulic system is very basic on my dumper, from the tank it goes via the pump to the block with the tipper control, from there it goes down to the steering valve and then returns back up to the tank via the filter.
Are these valves hard to repair/reseal, or do you know anywhere that will refurbish it for me.
I have looked around for replacement units but there’s so many I’m not sure of which model to look for.

Just removed the offending unit and found some numbers on it, is this a serial/part no

It’s got danfoss on the side of the unit
could still have pertinent info. under there like a model no.?? ... worth the effort, in case .... Danfoss are the main/leading manufacturers of orbital units IIRC

I’ll give it a bit of a clean and have a look.
Anyone have any experience of resealing these units, seal kits are quite cheap.

a difficult rebuild apparently ..... if everything is not perfectly re-assembled the orbital becomes a motor :oops:o_O and likely breaks your wrist(s)

Anywhere to send them to get them re sealed?

That’s what’s underneath
well that was worth the effort, I'd say .... google the numbers and see what comes up .... er ... take a seat

Exactly, those prices are insane, it’s got to be worth a go at resealing it?

It's also quite possible you'd be able to fit a different orbital on there with some fiddling about .... do see 'em s/h on fleabay for 80-100 quid
