I've bought another pair of CAT gravel premium boots, I find them comfy and quadruple stitching round the laces. I don't like the glued together stuff you get nowadays, they don't last me very well and it appears I'm hard on boots.

I got given a pair of cofra boots by the local drainage company i was working for. They seem ok, nice and wide toe area and gortex lined. I dont think any of the poo water got through.
Made in albainia.

I was disappointed with the lifespan compared to meindl.

My oldest pair is only five years old and the newer pattern ones have only done two years as "Best" boots so I'm not really in a position to compare lifespan yet 🤔

These are by far the best boots I've ever had, waterproof upto the tongue and comfy in the long run,the only problem with me personally was that they took a week to wear in so haven't got them again, I think I probably could have done with a size up.

Second best is Engelbert strauss

Jesus I barely get two years from a pair, and was about a year on the arbotechs! Did like the colour though.

I walk funny (it’s a Sussex thing) and constantly squatting and kneeling in a concrete floored workshop fks the soles and rand of any boot double quick.

I really rate my Meindl chainsaw boots. Airstream or Airstream Rocks. Not cheap but steel toecaps and oh-so-comfy for those of us with Hobbit feet- wide and short!
so that's where middle earth is :ROFLMAO:

Have the opposite problem ... long narrow (flat/burgered) feet ... very hard to find a pair of boots without being able to try them .... most are way too wide for me

these do look a nice boot, I must say

I always have a pair of them as they are easy to slip on I end up wearing them every day instead of my proper boots. The suade ones look better but the tan are waterproof

I like slip ons, but are always too wide for me ... only ever found one pair that were a good fit and wore them 'til they fell apart ... we used to have a Tuf factory shop local and had them from there years ago .. as said .. like slippers (y)
