But you are. I quoted partially a well known saying for you to pick up on, but maybe it went over your head. Here is the abridged version with explanation:
"The admonition to
walk a mile in someone else’s shoes means before judging someone, you must understand his experiences, challenges, thought processes, etc. The full idiom is:
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. In effect, it is a reminder to practice empathy."
I did that because I don't have the time to explain to you chapter and verse why things are done the way they are, but there are good reasons and with respect, I wasn't asking for advice on it. I was simply posting up a snapshot of one moment of a day when Winter rainfall fell in July, so
judge ye not on that.
I studied Building site Management to HNC level as it then was and one thing we were taught is when materials come in you offload and store them correctly in the place where they will be used, you do it twice you're wasting time and money. You can't argue with that.
If you want to come up and spend a few months here helping and then advise after what you've learned about living on the Pennines on a tight budget you're welcome, i'm sure we can get you a bed somewhere.
Fellow respected member V8Druid builds things in an open yard in the rain whilst everyone else uses a workshop, I once enquired/advised why and didn't get much of a detailed response. That's because I never walked a mile in his shoes and really it's none of my business why he does things the way he does. It is what it is and I respect that.
As must you
