yeah the track speed always worked now its just on slow.
there is no Hoses that go to the 2 speed

surely rotating the slice would end for end it ??

The slice is fed through centre from one side, you could try turning it yes!

The htd5 does not turn well when loaded. Regardless of being used or new.
Do a video to YouTube and link it, for the turning issue you could be trying to fix an unfixable problem.

you might be right. but i would have thought it would turn like any other tracked machine. not having to fight it

No, fully loaded you can move one if the levers and sweet fa will happen.
At times I put OSB boards down on the the turning points, it does a couple of things, firstly stops that section getting tore to pieces and secondly gives a bit of slip to help turn.
You will need to feather the lever at times to turn and dropping to low speed can help, mixture of the two techniques tends to do the job.
Turning power and speed is the biggest Achilles heel for the htd5.
I have an old cormidi c6.50 and track turning power is excellent and as the revs are now a lot higher, low speed is slightly slower than the htd5 high speed and high speed is a decent walking pace. Everything else about is not so good, lift and tip is a bit slow and very rare it discharges a full load, even gravel doesn't always empty

Hi all its been a while and now its time to get stuck back into this dumper and get the 2 speed fixed or at least running in 2nd!
ive just gone out to it to start to strip the valve block back out and noticed it dripping with oil. i think possibly i have put the wrong size O ring in some where, so i will re-do the lot again
does anyone know the correct size O rings so i can get them on order please? i don't have the originals to compare to

im not sure if they are all wrong. at the time i didn't it, i got a o ring kit from screw fix and used what i thought was a match.
but when i look under the valve block there is drips from everywhere. so maybe best to redo it, while i am all ready taking it out to sort the 2 speed

the tipping and lifting are now fine.
lost the 2 speed so its painfully slow.
tracking is jerking.
moved the 2 speed spool into the tipping spool so both ram spool are the same and the tracking spools are the same.
i think someone before me changed the spools around as the ram spools wasn't identical

I am guessing there was a problem originally, and the owner ordered a spool section (cheapest) and thinking it was the same had it fitted and created the problem!
So all works apart from 2 speed, but you have leaks?

Hi, yes i have leaks but apparently Ive just found out that the o rings i Used are not right and i need the correct ones form the Hydraforce . I'm trying to contact them now.
just need to fix the 2 speed now
