Luckily the ground was v soft there were a few tilts when auger was fully loaded but nothing dramatic. The weather was on our side today aswell which is always a plus!

Been having a read of the book tonight, fairly impressive the control over the prop controls on the ET65, hopefully help make for a decent experience for a 4p tilty.

I operate across two counties, the difference between planning departments is vast, you genuinely wouldn’t think they were both following the same basic framework. The only similarities are the fact it’s impossible to speak to anyone within the planning department anymore. The last big app I got approved was because my consultant used to work for the said council and she had everyone’s mobile number still! That was 3k well spent would have absolutely never got it passed on my own.

They are a nightmare - in my limited dealings with their planning department it is impossible to take any advice or insights from their actual case officers as their face-to-face agreements are meaningless once they get back to their office.

The obvious problem is the cost, but it’s mostly the time elapsed in all of this!
I had an app in for over 6 months that they haven’t even picked up or looked at, by that time I could have taken it to appeal but then that’s another 12+ months added onto the job.
I had to bombard them with emails to get them to acknowledge my application (all listed online and even allocated a officer) officer came to site first thing next day full of apologies and passed it the following week!
So frustrating!
