Bought two sanys - have I gone mental?

Both been out this weekend 24hrs on the cabbed 12 on the other and all seems well apart from stupid emergency stop button position. Needless really so I’ll take them off as customers knock them then don’t know why it won’t start, fuel guage is shite…electric readout alternates so you don’t always see it. A straight forward dial would have suited better, and brand snobbery…hadn’t really thought about it but first self drive said I was expecting a bobcat! I said hopefully you won’t need a call out on this one and the paint will still be on it when I get back. View attachment 46804

The daft thing is that people used to moan if a bobcat turned up. And bobcat were very cheap to start with. Looks like the cycle is starting again.

Maybe lee should have bought a bobcat and same weight sany . Then he could have offered the bobcat at the increased hire price that reflected the purchase price . and the Sany at his standard rate I wonder how many would take the bobcat

Maybe lee should have bought a bobcat and same weight sany . Then he could have offered the bobcat at the increased hire price that reflected the purchase price . and the Sany at his standard rate I wonder how many would take the bobcat

I did think about running them slightly cheaper than the other machines to see if he helped then thought Fock it! Most self drive customers are shocked that you don’t deliver for free and offer to take 20t of clay away for nothing either so I’m not getting into discounts!

Haven’t hired a small digger for years so what is the going weekly rate for these!

Tend not to do weeks, weekdays usually to builders, landscapers who just want a day or two etc 85/day plus 20-40 each way. Weekend 150-165 plus haulage to domestic stuff other than 6t which tends to be weeks only as usually experienced op doing site clear/prep. The daily hire stuff yields better but obviously loads more hassle, could do with a semi retired type just running machines about and talking to customers. Doing drops first thing, work on site/s with lads during day then move machines about on a night takes its toll on a marriage (so I’m told)

Had one of the new machines home today and got chance for an hour in it. Actually really impressed, much smoother and quicker than doosans or bobcat, plus the hitch is same as e10 despite having much bigger/heavier buckets. Means the breaker, rakes, grabs, tilting bucket etc from the micros fit the sanys…winner! Bad side is the when the lads work it out they’ll have the big toothed bucket off the 1.9 on the micro on the next garden dig out and tip it over…

Both machines still going well and ready for 50hr services just about. Had a look in the box that came with them and not only all filters there but also every single took you would need, including socket set and filter spanner but also all manuals and a brand new grease gun.

That's around what I paid for the dx10 with whites quick hitch start of 2019, tb210r was similiar price

I paid bang on 15k for mine 2 years ago with quick hitch and 4 buckets. Think price rose 1000 just after I bought mine. Just had first problem with it, keypad died! Easily sorted and bypassed under warranty and new keypad on its way soon. £700 apparently so if it fails outside of warranty I will be replacing it with a normal key!

Think they were similiar price a few months ago. The red colour looks good on them, probably should have tried the sv26 as was similiar price to the 8026

I tried the sv26 . I did really like it. I was put off by the offset on the boom not going as far left as I'd of liked and I managed to get a full fat kx027-4 for less money
