Saturday morning treat was to go down into town with the old man to fill the tank or a fivers worth whichever came first.
Ration coupons came into it too I think 🤔

Good practice for @Lee - in years to come, when he slips the grandchildren £50k each to spend down the sweet shop, he can tell them “You know, I bought not one but two diggers with this back in 2023!”
I’m hoping I’m telling them in 2023 you could buy a digger for 16k and it could yield 50k in three years…we’ll see how that goes

Both been out this weekend 24hrs on the cabbed 12 on the other and all seems well apart from stupid emergency stop button position. Needless really so I’ll take them off as customers knock them then don’t know why it won’t start, fuel guage is shite…electric readout alternates so you don’t always see it. A straight forward dial would have suited better, and brand snobbery…hadn’t really thought about it but first self drive said I was expecting a bobcat! I said hopefully you won’t need a call out on this one and the paint will still be on it when I get back.

Might be a big ask lee but it would be good to see how the life of these 2 progress through self drive hire .
