I have a KLX 250 Kwaka, with DAX 5V as a plate, which I have been offered LOTS for -- if it was 8V it'd probably have tempted me long ago :giggle:

Purchase whatever you want providing you have done your homework, With classic cars I always look at MOT history as it can tell you alot about owners, life is too short and what is the point in being the Richest person in the Graveyard!

All my life I’ve invested in my house . I’ve just sold it and am renting . The mortgage is paid off and I’ve a wedge in the bank to complete a new build . I’m really struggling though to drive past local motorbike shop . 🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️

I’m contemplating a Triumph Tiger 800 currently. Getting the itch again.

I need to fetch the SLR650 out of the lockup too, but wanting something for longer trips.

I wouldn't mind a tiger, some are reasonably priced, and decent ride height for the bigger boned of us 🤔

I love a big single but the 650s are too vibey at higher revs. Not keen on the weight of an R1200GS either.

I’m hoping the triple in the Triumph will still give me the torque I love but in a smoother manner. I might start with an older 900 (looking at one locally Monday). 2006, fuel injected so hopefully relatively trouble free.

Try a 1290 ktm if you like torque - 2 x 650 pots make it a wee bit agricultural - but another level off the bottom.

Im a compulsive buyer, but have rammed my purchases, Im more into my classics. Although i seemingly have just bought a ex nascar truck… That said its unlikely to depreciate, and i can buy it outright. When i bought my Fez the monthly’s were killer let alone the 90k balloon :D

The 1190 Adventures are mega and pretty good value now - I keep thinking about an R. Not much between them and the 1290 in real term performance IME (they are all bloody fast!).
I’ve got a 990 Adventure R and will never sell it. Hard to find good ones now, they are great off road and crash well!
