Well, you don’t know that, and neither do I, but if he is, well let him crack on, I don’t need to worry about how someone else is running their business.I bet he was successful, running round on red and no O license!

I don’t have an issue with wether he’s on red or not, or has an O license. But seen has you don’t need one, he’s got nothing to worry aboutYou don't actually need a O License to shift a tub grinder, as the whole outfit can be viewed as a item as mobile plant and it's not carrying a load. Red diesel is the questionable affair.
Same as screeners and crushers. Technically you can tow the likes of a screener or crusher (provided it has a trailer built into the unit and your not loading it on a low loader.) without O license issues.
A good way to go. Making money out of what was rubbish that would be a cost to get rid of. Yes setup meant initial outlay, but if the figures stack up it is another income stream and is a tick in the green box for recycling was which goes down well with government organisations.A landscaper that uses us has a tumble grinder that goes on a tractor and grinds up green waste pallets and smallish stumps end product is turn over a few times then screened and sold as soil conditioner

do we think the 50kg per hour is some thing you would have to stick to if so would not be a lot of good i have emailed the company for more infoThere are certain restrictions on the use of those air curtain furnaces.
The manufacturers web site has links to the EA web site which lists them. One of the conditions is that you can only burn 50kg of material per hr.
My guess is that you would also need to let the material dry before you would be able to get it to burn cleanly enough to not get yourself into trouble, even with one of they there magic machines![]()
could that not all be shredded ? the guy I spoke of above gets loads of that sort of thing every daydo we think the 50kg per hour is some thing you would have to stick to if so would not be a lot of good i have emailed the company for more info
did a job yesterday filed a 7 ton dump trailer with hedge cuttings mainly laylandi at 50 kg per hour thats 140 hours View attachment 7292
Yes is the short answer it may be that a shredder is the way forward i am not looking for a big set up. if i had had a shredder this could have been left on site and another £80-100 in the sky rocket and and an hour saved waiting around for the tractor and trailer.could that not all be shredded ? the guy I spoke of above gets loads of that sort of thing every day
sounds like it would do the job but a lot bigger than i had in mind but thanks any wayI’ve borrowed a Doppstadt 3060 to destroy the roots that I pulled up on the clearance job that I made the cone splitter forit has a V8 merc engine in it, a slow speed single shaft shredder will get a few pictures when I get a chance to use it
(Maybe a bit big for you as weights 26 tonnes)![]()
Guy I was talking about earlier's is a V8 and that name does ring a faint bell in my head .... long time since I was at his place ..... his biggest issues were keeping the rad.s clean and clear .... was a full time job apparentlyI’ve borrowed a Doppstadt 3060 to destroy the roots that I pulled up on the clearance job that I made the cone splitter forit has a V8 merc engine in it, a slow speed single shaft shredder will get a few pictures when I get a chance to use it
