Nice work. Would you not find it easier mounted from the bottom of the mast? I find this way I can get more height closer in- makes quite a difference- especially when on the 3 tonner.

It’s on the 5.5, had it on the bottom for strainers on 3 but 5.5 just carries it so much better and on joystick not foot control.

Can run on my own like this start post then jump in and bang away

You have a powertilt hitch don't you? What's your thoughts on using that with the knocker. Do you think the hitch would take the shock?

pretty sure he outed the tilt hitch .... can't imagine 'em being keen on holding that beast in one spot

Yeah reckon your right. It's bad enough just having that amount of weight hanging offset as it is

Bit of a tidy up we’re we’ve been doing some drainage , another one to go in yet but scaffolds in the way, wants raking through with the rake bucket I lent @JD450A when we go over it at the end , harfords thumb grab is so handy always makes you wonder why you’d never had one !

Looks a well built thumb good that it works with the bucket pins too ...

Very well built and very happy with it , proper thick steel and excellent having it on the dipper pin ! Can see why everyone likes them !

Last bit of the 1400m2 of turf and last bit of fencing finally getting done, Cheated on septic fencing rather than doing 8 box strainers I used some jump poles to make 1 big box, battery chainsaw been ace for doing these.

Chucked a footing in for wall restore and built a quick pond before machines were excluded from that area by fencing and turf, busy day for 2 of us. Curiously more done than when 4 lol

Question for the blokes that do this often as I forgot when the last time i repaired tarmac was ....12m long x 40cm wide and about 7/8 cm deep.

How much tarmac ....1 ton

I would probably do 750 kg base
500kg topping

Scatter about 6 bags of cold lay and run over it with tiny wacker/transit wheel if it’s my local council. Seal what edges…..

Dont seem to do a lot of base coat over here.
