-4C here last night and at some point, we had some largish flakes -- not many though, thank **** ... anything solid and frozen still has them this morning

it's forecast for next Tuesday ATM

Made the mistake of leaving me carrots in the ground, it's frozen so hard for so long i'd need a jackhammer to get them out
Cold drinks are now kept outside, just open the patio door to get a beer, saves me walking to the kitchen

How you rate the kamado...my Weber has finally given up the ghost Shame as it's only nearly 20 years old . Been looking but they all seem to have risen in price and wasn't smitten with current Webber's felt bit crappy quality.

How do you get on with the temperature probe in the flames? I thought they didn’t like it.

It didn’t, it panicked at the heat 350oC and shut the app down i then dropped it into the coals trying to pull it out with tongs lol , seared it then finished it in the oven with MEATER back in. I’ve got a better system but needs power and has blower box for bottom vent and controls the heat of the kamado has 3 connect thermostats which don’t mind the flames.

Tonight was just get it hot quick with DEWALT leaf blower then sear the s**t out of it.

I’ve got two of the Aldi big ones and one little one, don’t use my others anymore only my smoker. They are the mutts nuts. When extension gets done they’re going in outside kitchen with pizza oven. 3 kamados, 1 open plancha and pizza oven full bbq coverage

I’ve got this portable one, has batteries and you put tiny cup of charcoal in middle fan blows it to heat it up. Works a treat and cooks quick

I have a 1987 handmade solid wood kitchen made by John Lewis which came with the house it’s about 15m2 , but my new kitchen will be going in the new extension and that’ll be about 70m2 can’t wait

Was my 40th had 50 odd ppl Rd for garden party , proper meat and fish big one 1.2m pan, then meat only then veg only in far left one

We are rubbish at inspiration but we tried hello fresh boxes. They are actually really good. Give an amazing variety and as long as you cancel your subscription and re subscribe everytime the sign up deal runs out then it's actually good value for money. Plus you don't have to be a good cook to make good food which benefits me.
